Lord God, keeper and source of all that is good, holy, and true, make me to stay under the canopy of Your protective will. Invoke Your power to emanate from the deepest recesses of my weary soul. May Your perfect peace mend the terrible brokenness my own chaos of emotions has caused in me. For I was created to be Your image bearer. I was created for love’s purpose. So I call on You, my Savior King, to rescue my wretched heart through the reassuring grace of Your unending love as expressed upon Your cross. I relinquish control of my life, my heart, my soul by placing all into Your protective embrace. I delight to be loved by You. As Your beloved, I will lean on You, enveloped in mercy and graceful tenderness so that You can finish through me the work You have begun. Under the blessedness of Philippians 1:6 and the authority of Christ Jesus, these prayers are humbly submitted.
