Almighty God, You are the keeper of my soul. I lift my hands to reach for the skies as my knees fall to the ground in sweet surrender. Wrap Your loving arms around me as You open my ears to hear the whisper of Your words of wisdom and move me with Your Spirit of discernment. Grant me the strength to persevere, Lord, for I am languishing before the challenges of my current situation. I cry out to You, Jesus, to instill in me the power to persevere. Lead me to endure with joy that which I would rather turn away from if it is to Your glory that I endure. I seek encouragement to take another step upon the path of Your will, Father. Please, Lord God, step in between me and the darkness that encroaches on my heart. Defeat the shadows that corrupt the clarity of my view of how things truly are. Light up my life with Your love. Be real to me as You make Yourself known to me through the healing and strength I so desire and You delight to impart on those that You love. May I not only hear Your beautiful, protective voice, but may I follow it to the outermost territory of my own comfort zone. For then I will see the gorgeous horizon of eternity through the unobstructed view of grace. Under the mercy of Isaiah 41:10 and the authority of Christ, I lay these prayers at Your feet, O God.
