Today’s Prayer

Father God who loves me and invited me into the deep places of Your heart through Christ Jesus, my Savior, energize Your beloved servant for I am in need of Your endless supply of grace. Equip me for the assignment specifically ordained for the work of my hands at such a time as this. Lord God Almighty, I seek You to be all that I need as I am Your willing vessel for life, love and truth to flow through. Use me to fill in the gaps, Lord, as You bring a mighty word to infuse my heart and soften my spirit. Help me to minister to those tender souls tossed to and fro on the waves of life, making their way in a sailboat with no sail because they do not realize the sail is You, Jesus. May the teaching You have instructed me with grant me wisdom in expressing grace to others so that they can begin to unfurl their spiritual sail in order to master the rough waters of their lot in life. Build me up when I am weary, Lord, for the harvest is plenty and the laborers are few. Carry me upon the winds of Your Spirit to be blown in the direction of Your will. May Your strong hands cover me with calmness and fill me with trust. May Your sweet peace bring comfort despite my own ailments. In blessed deep sleep I will slumber in a posture ready to receive Your replenishing rest so that the supply never runs out. Let the splendor of Your presence energize and radiate through my being. Under the promise of 1 Chronicles 16:29 and the authority of my loving Savior Jesus Christ, I send these prayers toward heaven.

Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
    bring an offering and come before him!
Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness.
1 Chronicles 16:29, ESV
