Today’s Prayer

Father of light, Creator of all things good, dazzle Your deeply loved child as the sparkles of Your Spirit of grace illuminate the darkness all around me. I invite You to tender the hardness of my heart, Lord God. Bring to light all that is shrouded by the shadows that haunt my soul. Smooth out the rough edges through refinement as You bring me closer to the true version of myself that I was intended to be. For I am designed to be a stunning reflection of You, Jesus. Cover Your beautiful child with Your blessing as I grope for the way to the open space where my soul is alive again in You. Open my ears to hear a mighty word from You that can illuminate me from the inside out as I seek the way, the truth and the life which is You, Jesus. O my King, I am royalty in You and as such I need not fear the enemy of my soul. No weapon forged against me shall prevail because my heart and soul belong to the King of Kings. No strategy employed to undermine my footing will work because the hands of my spirit are perfectly intertwined with Christ Jesus. No darkness shall overtake me because the light of the love of Christ is my illumination. Let me pour myself out on behalf of those in need. Father, abundantly bless Your servant so that I might see and taste the fruit of my labor in Your great name. Let all glory and praise flow from my toes to my lips in honor of You, O God, my God. Under the majestic word of Isaiah 58:10 and the authority of Christ Jesus, these prayers are my offering of fragrance to You, my Lord.

if you pour yourself out for the hungry
and satisfy the desire of the afflicted,
then shall your light rise in the darkness
and your gloom be as the noonday.
Isaiah 58:10
