My God, my breath of life, my source and my destiny-maker, let Your servant experience the indestructible nature of Your perfect love. Shower me with raindrops of grace that will wash away the stains of hurt from this world and enable me to radiate with the kindness of Christ Jesus toward the unkind souls in need of Your grace. Lord, turn my spirit upside down in the midst of the stormy waves of relational turmoil so that I can be emptied of my sense of self which anchors my soul to this world, hindering me from soaring upon the heavenly breezes wafting into my life on the wings of Your Holy Spirit. May my desperate need for You, Jesus, lead me away from temptation’s harbor and into the calm waters of the desired haven, where You await me with open arms. Under the familiar comfort of Matthew 11:28 and the authority of Christ Jesus, these prayers are a fragrant offering to my Lord.
Come to me, all who labor
and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28, ESV
