Blessed Father in heaven, Your presence is my refuge. Draw Your beloved into Your warm embrace in order to comfort my anxious soul and minister to my weary heart. Replenish the parts of me which are languishing as You remind me of the truth of who I am in You -holy chosen and beloved. Dress me up in joy’s radiance so that I am empowered to fight for the stolen ground which the enemy has taken. May the equipment You have supplied for the fight be fully utilized as I charge into the spiritual battle, proving to the enemy that he has messed with the wrong child of God. Help me, Lord, to get back what is rightfully mine in Christ. You have shown me that love is worth the fight. You have taught me that faith is worth the battle. You have saved me because victory is Your gift of hope to my heart. Under the power of 2 Timothy 4:7 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I lay these prayers upon the altar of God.
I have fought the good fight,
I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
2 Timothy 4:7, ESV
