My amazing and holy God, bless Your treasured possession with the favor of Your hand upon me. Cast away all fear that hinders, anxiety that binds and obstacles that distract. Keep my focus fixed on You, the author of my story. Make me to grow by the sustenance of the vine that is Christ in me. For I am in need of character development, Lord. Captivate my heart with Your tender ways, Jesus. Reveal to me the mystery of Your holiness, so that I can walk in a manner fully pleasing to You. Fashion the truth into a beautiful tapestry of grace which can be a refuge for the hurting in my little corner of this world, Lord God. Wrap Your loving arms around me in strength that infuses my own spirit to be in union with Yours as You call upon me to love the least of these. In the blessedness of Matthew 25:40 and the authority of Jesus Christ, I let these prayers fall from my lips into Your heart, O God.
