Lord God, this is the day that was made by Your hands so I pray that I can rejoice and find blessings of gladness in each moment. Father, be ever near me as I invite You to do a mighty work through me for Your Kingdom glory. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, enable me to crucify my flesh so that no distractions hinder the progress of faith’s calling. Help me to glean the abundant wisdom and understanding which is part of my inheritance in Christ Jesus who saved me. Lead me on this journey toward the divine destiny that You have purposed in and through this life that has been granted to me. In every role that I play, let my faith govern my interactions and my love motivate my words. May I look to You for the strength that I need in times of weakness as well as the clarity which I seek in times of confusion. Under the mighty word of God in Psalm 59:17 and the blessed authority of my Savior, Jesus Christ, I set these prayers upon the altar.
