Father in heaven, Your Name is great and worthy to be praised. I come to You on bended knee with a heavy heart. Lift the numerous burdens off my shoulders, Lord. Remove the shroud of negativity and demolish the spirit of discouragement that plagues me. Restore the joy that my soul has in You. Give me an energetic hunger for Your Holy Word because that is where I find my life. Make my heart pure in Your cleansing grace. Forgive me of my attitudes which do not line up with Your reflection. Take away any hindering fear so that You can enlarge the territory of ministry with which You call me to service. Father, take the curtains down from my eyes so that I can see the blessings with which You wish to use me. For in You I have courage. In You, I am made ready. In You, I am enough for the task at hand. There is no burden You will not shoulder with me, Jesus. Show me the way, Lord, because I will hold nothing back from You. Under the merciful word of Isaiah 54:2 and the authority of Christ, I place these prayers upon the altar of the King of glory.

Enlarge the place of your tent,
    and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out;
do not hold back; lengthen your cords
    and strengthen your stakes.
