Blessed are You, O Lord God Almighty, for Your eternal eyes see the depths of the heart of those that You love. Look upon Your child, Lord, with endearment that will quiet the vociferous noises of my soul. Replenish me in times of great weariness as You take me to the quiet waters of salvation where I can gaze upon my reflection in the living water of Christ to see the fullness of beauty in grace that blossoms from the deep places of my heart. Set my eyes on You until Your vision becomes my own as You rip the curtains of deception from my mind. For in me You have set Your beloved treasure among the barren landscape of the world in order that I might bear much fruit in the abiding presence of my wonderful Savior. Raise me up, Lord, through the full reception of Your love. Under the Word of truth in 2 Corinthians 1:12 and the authority of Jesus, in whose name I pray, I lay these heart murmurings at Your feet.
For our boast is this, the testimony of our conscience,
that we behaved in the world with simplicity and godly sincerity,
not by earthly wisdom but by the grace of God,
and supremely so toward you.
