Father in heaven, steady the unceasing trembles of my heart. Only You can resurrect in me a faith that is unalterable, a hope that surpasses all doubts and changing circumstances and a love not easily corrupted. Jesus, take mighty hold of my hesitant hand as I reach for the fullness of purpose which can only be found in You. Capture my ignorance with the wisdom of Your Spirit until I am a better reflection of Your holy love. Your approval and delight is the only pursuit worth striving for. With full assurance of faith, I bow at Your feet in love that rejoices in the myriad of daily blessings showered on my life from heaven’s bounty. Let me not succumb to the questions plaguing me during times that are uncertain. Rather, lead me to trust in Your sovereignty, being ever mindful of Your faithfulness which has been proven time and again. My thoughts dwell within the sweet anticipation of Your promises. My hopes rise in the resurrection power of Christ. Father, keep me daily in the nearness of Your presence until my every breath becomes life-glorifying praise. Under the Word of truth You have bestowed in John 11:9-10 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in humble prayer.
