Holy Father of heaven, Your throne of glory is to be highly revered. You sit in the power of sovereignty. Nothing happens that You are not fully aware of, nor holy prepared for. Through the work of You Son, I am gratefully approaching Your face, knowing that the bounty of Your grace and the depth of Your compassion cover me completely. Fill the empty caverns of my frail heart with divine love’s power. Take erroneous desires and upend them until all that remains is a desire for Your glory. Help me live my life in such a way that Your Name is set apart with honor and devotion. Open the gates of the eternal Kingdom so that my soul eradicates every promise and my tongue speaks only truth. Lord, I want to know You. I want to be filled with Your Spirit. I want to pursue Your heart. As always, let Your will become my own. Though earth is just a shadow between good and evil, let my life gravitate toward the light of Your goodness and away from the darkness of the enemy. Resigning myself to holy obedience, I trust You to fully lead me where I need to go, Lord God, as I navigate the place that is not my home. Under the mighty Word of truth set down in Hebrews 4:16 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.

 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet He did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
