The benefits of Your love far outmatch my comprehension, Jesus. How sweet is the sacrifice that brings salvation. How great is the grace revealed on the cross. How full is the faithfulness of God who keeps His promises. Can anyone truly dive into the depths of Your majesty through praise, Lord? There are no words to describe the totality of Your holiness. Your kindness is measureless. Your goodness is incomprehensible to those who have rebelled against You. Can I grasp Your willingness to take my shame by becoming a human being? You, who was enthroned in heaven’s glory, condescended to step down into the mess of humanity because there was no other way for salvation except through You. You, who made the heavens and the world and all that is in it, brought heaven to the world because we were incapable of reaching You ourselves. You, who reigned supreme over all life, let Your life be snuffed out by wickedness, suffering unparalleled agony only to take it up again in the power of Your love and truth. Truly Lord, the depth of Your condescending love is beyond comprehension. Whatever praise I offer most definitely falls short of Your infinite worth. May I never cease to explore new levels of worship as You reveal to me the myriad layers of Your saving grace. Holy is the Lord God Almighty and worthy is the Lamb who was slain. Under the majesty of the Word in Psalm 11:4 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I humbly pray.
