Our Father in heaven, cultivate the barren ground within the hearts of the most seasoned believers. Pour out Your living water over the parched hearts of the unbelieving. Weed the landscape of the soul within those who profess Your great and mighty Name. There is as much work to be done without as there is within. May Your servants not be content to remain unfruitful. Lord God, dig around the roots of faith until You are assured that they reach for nothing less than the pure water of truth in Your Word. May Your Spirit flood every empty crevice of the soul until fulfillment makes the heart rejoice and the soul sing. Only the precious dew of truth brought forth in Your Word each day can help Your servants to become more fruitful. There is so much hunger and thirst in the world, Lord God. Let those who have delighted in You share the bounty from the feast of salvation. With You, there is abundance. With You, there is always enough. The generosity of Your loving heart is so willing to share. Make me worthy of being Your vessel, Lord God. Under the blessed assurance of Your holy truth in John 7:38 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in adoring prayer.
