Let my soul find nourishment in Your Word and sustenance in Your Spirit. Only You can make me whole, Lord God. Blessed is Your forgiveness and holy pardon. Let me now forget what has gone before and strain forward to what is coming. All that is corrupt within me is made incorruptible through Your abiding truth. I want to remain both teachable and moldable. Make this holy journey one that glorifies You, Jesus, because You have transformed me. Take me to new levels of spiritual maturity so that Your servant can reach the fullness of Christ. Let me continually strive to that end while at the same time resting in the knowledge that You will finish what You started. The journey toward maturity may never end this side of the veil, but it is a holy and worthy adventure, nonetheless. My heart flourishes with fragrant gratitude that You invited me to step on this path, Lord God. You turned me away from the dead-end roads I traveled hoping to find pleasure in this world. You set my feet upon the narrow way that leads to pleasure everlasting. In all my ways let me live for You as You live through me. Help me, Spirit of the Living God, to lay down my life so that You can pick it up for me. I yield to You, and only You, Jesus. Under the blessedness of the Holy Word of God in John 15:13 and the authority of Christ, my Savior, I come before the throne in humble prayer.
