May the lamp of my soul be set aflame with nothing less than fiery faith in Christ Jesus, my Lord. Father, increase the intensity of the burning desire for Your glory. Let Your renown be revealed in my life. Destroy and subdue my tendency toward destructive choices. Shine brighter through my words and actions as You lead me along the holy path. Only Your truth and compassion can cover my naked inquiry with grace. Let the potter’s hand shape and form the clay of my soul. Whatever is hardened, water with Your living truth so that it is malleable again. Those unyielding aspects of the heart are only destined for breakage without Your saving intervention. Make me Your vessel, Jesus. Fill me with holy contents until the aroma of grace spreads from this tabernacle. Lord God, You are the One who determines what I am fit for in Your Kingdom. Make me Your offering. Remove any fear of the enemy who hinders my progress. Sanctify my heart under the blessedness of salvation. Animate my soul with holy living that points to You, Jesus. Pour out all that You have poured into me, God, until I am empty and ready for filling. Let Your servant not hoard the mighty treasure imparted in Your Word. Rather, teach me the best way to share it as You bring others across my path. Lord, You are sovereign and holy good. Make me whatever You want me to be. I am utterly Yours. Under the beauty of Your precious Word set down in Deuteronomy 9:3 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.

Know therefore today that He who goes over before you as a consuming fire is the Lord your God. He will destroy them and subdue them before you.
