Your Name, Lord, is above all names. Your heart is a refuge for all who believe. Deliver me from the stranglehold of apathetic worship. Let me not become distracted by appearance. For I know You long for worshipers who come to You in spirit and in truth. Make my celebration holy in power and lively in devotion. Gratitude spills over the banks of my heart’s river, washing my soul in humility because it was You who chose me. Jesus, Your extension of salvation through the power of divine love is the only source of my transformation. You lit up the shadows of deception like lightning striking the dry ground in summer, sparking flames of faith that are fanned by Your presence. You destroyed what corrupts and replaced it with new desires. You struck down cravings which were only lures from the adversary. Your indwelling Spirit makes me healthy and whole again. Though my soul was shattered, You patiently put each sharp piece back in its place regardless of the damage I caused to You. Your mighty love endures forever. Let it be known throughout the generations that the Lord is God. He is the Creator of the universe. The very fabric of life is knit together with the holy breath and Word of God. I delight to praise You, my King. I banish all other pursuits to follow the path You have set before me, Jesus. Under the blessed Word in Psalm 16:11 and the authority of Christ, I bow in adoring prayer for the purpose of abiding in my Savior.

You will show me the path of life. In Your presence is fullness of joy. In Your right hand there are pleasures forever more.
