Lord, let me not become discouraged by the spiritual foes which taunt me with claims of infallibility. I am far beyond perfection. The best I can do is reflect You. In Christ I have been granted courage that goes far beyond mortal comprehension. I cannot overcome the battles of spiritual warfare in my own strength. By faith, I trust in my Savior to lead me across that terrain. Jesus, I give You more than just a portion of myself. Take me as Yours, body, soul, and spirit claimed by the blood of the Lamb. Conquer the lingering sin that weakens faith, Lord. Subdue all contrary inclinations which work against Your will. Complete Your kingly reign in my life. Lead me to willingly enter the battle against sin because it no longer has a place in my life. Drive out any habit or desire that will drive me away from You, God. Rid me of a tolerance for darkness. I am no longer a subject of Satan’s Kingdom. Let my life not be a storehouse of carnality. May my passions not be enflamed by iniquity any longer. Rather, teach me how to leave a legacy of holiness and let my faith be emblazoned by grace. Lord, I surrender my judgment to You. Take my thoughts captive, weaving them into the fabric of Your Holy Word. I lay down my rights to myself. Jesus, I give all to You. Under the mighty Word of the Lord found in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 and the authority of Christ, I bow before the King in prayer.

Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
