Your answers soothe the open wounds of my questions, Lord. When trouble becomes the sea on which my soul sails, Your presence is my anchor. Within the ravages of situations that intend to harm me Jesus, You are my healer. Your touch is compassionate. When I come to You with an empty cup, You are eager to fill it with Your heart. Within the boundaries of Your Word, I am safe. Send me help when I cry out from the depths of despair. For I know that You are always listening. I know that You are a responding Savior. Look favorably upon my confession, Lord. Accept my offerings of devotion. I give You all that I am and desire to become all that You want me to be. Enfold my plans into Yours, Lord God. Let my desires become submissive to Your will. Remind me when I face the enemy that I fight from a position of victory. I don’t fight for victory because You accomplished that on the cross, Jesus. May my life be a banner of victory that glorifies You. Even when I am battle-weary Lord, rescue comes from Your mighty hand. Take my life and consecrate it to Yourself, Lord Jesus. Hold the trembling souls in Your steady embrace until the praises of Your saints are lifted to the throne of heaven. Under the blessed assurance of 1 John 4:4 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.
