My life is Yours to command, Lord Jesus. Make each breath holy and every moment sanctified. Through my surrendered soul You can enliven the hearts of others. Kindle the flames of faith as You animate my life through devotion and worship. Keep me growing like a flower bud opening to the light that gives nutrients and direction. Jesus, You are my something to reach for. Guard me against the sensual earthly treasures that promise everything yet deliver nothing. I invite Your Spirit to wash through me in cleansing power and purifying strength. Your sacrifice removed the stain of sin. Your love floods the dirty emotions out of my heart. Let there be nothing left in me except love, joy, peace, kindness, faith, and self-control. Refine the fires that fuel my motivations, Lord. Enable me to reject unlawful pleasure to seek the blessings that come directly from Your hand. With thoughts taking flight on holy wings, my soul is united with Your Spirit. My heart is bent in the direction of Your will. Powered by grace alone, let me remain focused on the invisible glory that comes with salvation that cannot be earned but has been freely offered. Jesus, by Your blood I am saved. By Your sacrifice, I am made new. Deliver me from the burdens and cares of this world. Let Your servant not be brought down by earthly distractions that take me off the original purpose for which You saved my soul. Under the mighty power of Your Word in John 1:16 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in humble prayer.
