Our Father in heaven, You are the author and perfecter of faith. Build Your church, Lord, as You have promised. Fill the sacred space of our assembly with integrity and truth because Your Spirit dwells among us. Keep the church from harmfully vague and hopelessly accommodating Christianity. Reveal our sins and the resulting stains upon Your bride. Where unity has been fractured Lord, reforge the bonds. How precious in Your sight is restored relationship! Let Your mercy and majesty be reflected in the family called by Your Name. In being different, Your church will make a difference. Lead us along the path of righteousness as we repent and let Your Spirit take us back to purity and simplicity. Keep Your leadership from the corruption of distraction. Lord, may Your Name be hallowed. Reveal the transgressions until we do church the way You intended. Unless Your build the house, the workers labor in vain. Make my heart holy and devoted to Your service. I approach the throne of grace on behalf of the brethren, my brothers and sisters in Christ. Beneath the blessed canopy of Your Holy Word in Psalm 127:1 and the authority of Jesus, our leader and guide, I come to the altar in prayer undergirded with intercessory power.
