What a privilege and blessed honor it is to be sanctified by the Lord. My Father in heaven, Your servant is prone to straying and tempted far too often to wander. Renew my covenant with You, Lord. Bring me back into the fold of truth. I have been diseased by the lies that I chose to believe. Free me from their deadly symptoms. You are my deliverance from troubles and the healer of all infirmity. Bring forth a bud of fragrant joy that wafts with the sweet aroma of truth evidenced by Your Word. I come again to the foot of the cross, letting my tears of repentance mingle with the blood on the ground. Whatever I have done to grieve Your Holy Spirit forgive me of and set me back on the right course. And let not my troubles turn me away from seeking Your face, Lord. Even if blessings fall like rain upon the circumstances of my life, let me not cease coming to this spot at the foot of the cross. May the indelible imprint of the space be uniquely conformed to my knees, Lord. Only You can occupy the throne of my heart, Jesus. Only You have the right to reign and shepherd me despite the adversity. Take my hallelujahs and multiply them in adversity and in prosperity. I offer You renewed prayers and a soul replenished by Your presence. I consider You with more than gratitude. Let my prayers be offered in the power of love abiding. Under the blessed Word of truth in John 8:31 and the authority of my blessed Savior, Christ Jesus, I come to the cross kneeling in prayer.
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed Him “If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
John 8:31, ESV

Whatever I have done to grieve Your Holy Spirit forgive me of and set me back on the right course–Amen!
