With humble gratitude, my soul finds rest in the acceptance of God Almighty. Let my heart take hold of salvation’s anchor in the tempestuous circumstances of life. Be subject to God Almighty, troubled soul. His powers fail not. His mercy never ends. In Him, all things are brought to completion. In You, Lord Jesus, I will boast all the day long. On You, I will build my confidence and find my identity. Hope glows eternal in the heart of those called by Your Name. You have extended the staff of life toward those who approach in faith. In Your love, there is strength for the weary. How precious to me is Your presence, Lord God. How joyous is the etching of Your Word in my soul. Make this life a lyrical praise to the One and Only. Pull me toward Your glory. Rest a holy hand upon my mouth so that my words, every thought spoken aloud, is worthy. Your is the Kingdom, Lord. Mark each step with permission as I come to You in prayer before I move. Gladly I have taken Your pardon. Surely I submit myself to Your purpose. Illuminate the way, Lord God. With confusion darkening the path because of worldly illusion, I need Your light and truth now more than ever. Take this dry and withered branch and bring it to life again – any part of faith that is dead or dying, Lord. Nourish my roots so that You can pluck the fruit of Your Spirit from the efforts of a single day. Humbled by Your kindness, assured by Your ableness, and awed by Your willingness, I come before Your throne. Under the beauty of the Word in Hebrews 4:16 and the authority of Christ, I bow in humble prayer.

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
