Thank You for Your interest in the lowly life of Your servant. Your pursuant love is a sweet solace to a heart prone to wander. Let me hold to the precious truth set down in Your Word. When I was poor in spirit, You made me rich in Christ. When You saw my suffering, You also had in mind my ultimate rescue. Your encouragement reminds me to review my calling and walk in the manner worthy of Your Name. As surely as I am Your child, the hope I have within my heart assures me that the trials will one day be ended. The richness of eternal bliss wafts upon vaporous prayers filled with promise. The weary head will wear the crown destined to be cast at the feet of my King. Though I lament my troubles today, I know that tomorrow will be filled with relief. In Your presence there is no sorrow, only joy. There is no crying, only singing. Etch the lyrics of the everlasting song on my heart until it escapes from my lips. The cross has opened the portals of heaven for all who believe. What blessedness is found in the call of my Savior. There is no division from the love of the Almighty for those who believe. Distress does not sever the bond. Flames of deception cannot burn through the truth. Arrows of persecution cannot pierce the shield of faith given to those in Christ. Let my worried soul rejoice that I am anchored in You, Lord God, the One whose promises never fail. Under the blessedness of the Word set down in Isaiah 51:6 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, look at the earth beneath; the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment and its inhabitants die like flies. But My salvation will last forever, My righteousness will never fail.
