Sweet Father in heaven, bless Your servant with clarity for Your call when I am lost in the wilderness of confusion. Shield me from attacks of anxiety meant to cloud the way before me. Blow away the discomfort of my own thoughts so that I can reach the summit of thoughts that are truly Yours. May the bright light of Your Holy Word help me to travel upon a peace-filled path, rooted in the joy of Christ despite the troubles of this perplexing society. Your love is my illumination. Your strength is my stronghold. Keep making me into the mighty child of God You intended me to be. As the days before me unfold, I look to You for fruitful abundance of joy, kindness, and love to be produced in the ways that I interact with others. Make my story one of perfect trust in You so that all You have wished to accomplish in me may be done to the glory of God in Christ. Winnow out my heart, O Lord, for the planting of Your seeds of grace. Under the blessed Word of truth in Matthew 13:23 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I pray to my Creator.
