Jesus, You are my victory! Every failure that haunts me with condemnation is a chiseling tool with which You have re-shaped my soul into Christ-likeness. Enable me to be enriched by the power of Your presence in my feeble life. Reveal to me the pursuits to prioritize according to Your destiny for my life. Lift my eyes above the chaos of pressure so that I can feel the horizon of peace beckon me toward an eternal perspective in current situations. Do not let the deceitful clouds of my selfish heart obscure the vision which Your Spirit places in my soul. Pull me into Your loving embrace when the one who seeks to devour my soul stalks me with insecurity and doubt. Let the truth of Your perfect love be a shield of impenetrable protection keeping me on the path of Your will. I lift these prayers to the source of my love, the keeper of my faith, and the protector of my soul. Under the beauty in Psalm 62:8 and the tender authority of my Savior, Christ Jesus the Lord, I come to the altar in prayer.
