Reconcile Your heart through Christ, Lord God Almighty, until I yield only to You. Though worldly affections linger, I know there is no place for them in those called by the greatest of Names. Make my faith genuine, Lord. May Your Word resonate with purity as my heart searches for deep and wondrous things. What greater truth is there than this – that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us! Is there a more necessary or less remarkable pardon than the One who took my punishment upon Himself, who bore my penalty in His body? Truly Lord, You have cast the shadow of righteousness from Your throne and into my scarred life. Your truth is infallible. Heed me to trust more completely in the merit of Your precious sacrifice. Though I am arrayed in the apparel of the flesh, You can enable me to live in the Spirit. Though I often do not act in a manner befitting my royal status in Christ, Your presence in its constancy reminds me who I am. A swollen spring longing to burst like a geyser, Lord I desire to become all that You destined me to be. Keep the fondness of my imaginings within the boundaries of holiness. Take every thought captive to You, Jesus. Let the narrative of this life be glory to God in the highest. Under the blessed Word of truth set down in Acts 2:32-33 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
He was speaking of Jesus, and we all are witnesses that Jesus rose from the dead.
“And now he sits on the throne of highest honor in heaven, next to God. And just as promised, the Father gave him the authority to send the Holy Spirit—with the results you are seeing and hearing today.”
Acts 2:32-33, TLB

Let the narrative of this life be glory to God in the highest–Amen!
