Your sweetly abiding promises are my companions in the midnight hour, Lord God. Your truth is the illumination on the dark path of life circumstances that twist and turn unexpectedly. My heart is waiting for Your attention, prepared for Your shaping. Take me to the sacred pages of Scripture where the records of what has passed between You and my soul are kept. Only Your way is the right way, Lord Jesus. Only the inexpressible and glorious joy of Your guidance will take me to the fountain of life. Unite me by divine intervention with Your faithful servants so that I may join in the inspired Kingdom work. With noble determination, move my feet in the direction of Your will. Raising a song of grateful love, may Your unified church praise Your Holy Name. There is happiness in completion for those who belong to You. Your triumph is assured. Your victory is secure. Death is swallowed up by Your perfect love. My soul is firmly committed to Your mighty hand. Beneath the life-giving, sanctifying influence of Your Spirit, I await the divine love story’s conclusion as the first chapter of eternal life unfolds because Your promises are trustworthy. Under the abiding Word and sure foundation of Luke 18:29-30 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.
