Great and mighty is Your Name, our Father in heaven. Your Kingdom glory is matchless. Your renown extends across the boundaries of history’s limited influence. You, and only You, can wrap the beginning around every ending. Usher new beginnings in the life of Your beloved, Lord. Fill me to overflow with Your resurrection power in my thoughts, my actions, and my words. Blossom the garden of my heart once again as You replenish my soul with living water. Saturate the strength of my body by the life-giving touch You so tenderly offer Your children in the fold of Your Holy Word. Almighty God, Sovereign of the universe, make me even more aware of Your intense love so that I can be lifted high above life’s pains. In Your Spirit, we are enabled to soar upon wings of forgiveness, grace, and divine, passionate love. Blessed are all who call upon Your Name in times of distress, Jesus. Let the heart of Your loved ones rejoice and be glad at Your coming. Under the rock of 1 Peter 4:12-13 and the resurrection authority of Christ, I place these prayers into the hands of the living God.

Friends, when life gets really difficult, don’t jump to the conclusion that God isn’t on the job. Instead, be glad that you are in the very thick of what Christ experienced. This is a spiritual refining process, with glory just around the corner.
