Marvelous is the richness of my relationship with You in Christ, God. By Your power, I am made alive despite my sin and trespass. Your voice of command brings life out of the tomb and resurrects the spirit within. Jesus, You are the substance of my existence. By Your life, I have been given life. Through Your indwelling Spirit, I experience the hope of glory. Let my actions reflect Your heart. Let Your truth be the core around which every other thought is formed. Sustain my life with the bread that comes down from heaven. Only Your presence satisfies a soul-hunger so desperate that it moves like an infection in the world. Jesus, You are the solace in life, the essence of joy. In You, we can make sense of sorrow. You define the worthiness of living. You mark the boundaries that keep me straight. Your loving is living. As an arrow hits its target with precision when well-aimed, let me fly toward fellowship with You every day. Under the blessed assurance of Your Word in Matthew 26:41 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.

Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
