With loving earnestness, I desire the unction of holiness to grip my heart. Let Your Kingdom come, Lord. May Your will supersede my own. Your special favor is the glimmer on tomorrow’s horizon. Manifest my zeal through doubled prayer and intense supplication. Troubles abound in this world, Lord. Deceit has bared its ugly teeth. Let me wrestle more at the throne than I have been mindful to do as of late. Make holy responses far more prompt and vigorous. The tide of repentance is the only thing that brings us to the shore of salvation. Jesus, let us climb willingly into Your boat of grace. The outpouring of Your Spirit is a blessing that cannot be measured. The labors of Your life are examples worthy of emulation. Remind me daily of the peculiar power prayer holds. It is a refuge from the sorrows. In prayer, I can drink of the joy and gladness only offered by Your presence. Through Your heart, the Scriptures are open. Through Your wisdom, the promises are applied. Teach me to walk in the light of Your countenance. There is liberty and devotion in communion with You, Lord God. Blow the mighty breath of the Spirit into my life so I can sail to the shores of eternity in Your vessel of mercy. Under the blessed truth set down in Mark 7:35-37 and the authority of Christ, I bow in humble prayer.
And his ears were opened, his tongue was released, and he spoke plainly. And Jesus charged them to tell no one. But the more he charged them, the more zealously they proclaimed it. And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”
Mark 7:35-37, ESV

Let Your Kingdom come, Lord. May Your will supersede my own–Amen!
