My Father in heaven who sources me with all that I truly need, fulfill the heart and mind of Your sweet child as I continue to walk in the ways of the Lord. There is no other way except the way marked out along the narrow path illuminated from the cross. May my tired steps remain steadfast with the perseverance supplied by Your Spirit. May my tread be made light by the joy of Your presence, Lord. Listen to the passionate pleas of Your loved one as I desire the refinement of my soul necessary for deep, revealing intimacy with You. Yet, I struggle with adversity’s intense flames of hardship. Grant me glimpses of heaven’s purpose, Lord, that I might gain the clarity which will carry me through life’s pain in such a way as to bring You glory. The redeemed of the Lord rejoice when the clouds of confusion dissipate once in a while. The breathtaking view of Your throne’s beauty glimmers upon the horizon of this path. In trust, I will walk. In faith, I will abide. In love, I will grow. In time, I will know even as I am now dearly known. Under the Word of 1 Corinthians 13:12 and the blessed authority of Christ Jesus, I set these prayers at the feet of the One my soul adores.

 We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing Him directly just as He knows us!
