My sweet and tender Father in heaven, sustainer of my very life, bring Your power into this temporary journey because I am Your beloved child who desires to please You. Remind me when I find myself consumed with worry that I am a sojourner on this earth. This light affliction will soon pass away. As Your treasured possession, may I be holy anointed to serve You with grace, to minister in mercy, and to love supernaturally. Unfold the secret power of Your will in every moment of the day. Keep my heart teachable through trials so that nothing You ordain is wasted. Bind the enemy from gaining any foothold through using past wounds or present hurts to distract me. Rather, reach Your ever-loving hands out to turn my face toward You, Jesus, and away from life’s continual drama. May Your peace unfold the layers of my soul as I grow in intimacy with You. Under the blessedness of Psalm 69:32-34 and the authority of Christ Jesus, my creator King, I place these prayers at Your feet, O God.
