Lord, let my words be few and my prayers be plenty. Fill the empty spaces of the soul with gratitude for all You are doing in this life. Make me ever mindful of my brothers and sisters in Christ so that I might lift up their burdens to You in prayer even when I cannot offer help in this world. With sincere supplication, I lay upon the altar the problems I cannot solve, the burdens I am too weak to carry, and the mysteries beyond comprehension. In making my request known to You, I receive the peace that goes beyond my finite understanding. Jesus, I ask directly, seeking Your heart in every matter as I knock on the door of Your compassion. As Your beloved, I rest knowing that I will receive Your answer, find Your will, and recognize the open door through prayer. Boldly, I come to the throne of grace without fear because I approach in love. Thank You for loving me first, Lord. Thank You for being there in my time of need. Thank You for letting me intercede on behalf of others. Truly, You delight in the prayers of the saints. May my sacrifice of thanksgiving be a sweet fragrance that reaches heaven. Your face I continually seek, my Lord. Under the holiness of Your Word in Psalm 27:7-8 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
Hear my voice when I call, Lord;
be merciful to me and answer me.
My heart says of You, “Seek His face!”
Your face, Lord, I will seek.
Psalm 27:7-8, NIV
