Light of the world who stepped down into darkness in the form of human frailty, bring strength of astonishing joy to the soul of Your beloved. Soul thirst can only be quenched by long sips of living water. The aching of a seeking heart is only tended to by the presence of the one who knit the heart together. God, take every thread of my life and weave it into a glorious tapestry of grace and love as You eliminate the draining influence of this world through the majestic life-giving nourishment of Your Word. To look upon You in the sanctuary of prayer is to find power. Refashion the colors of my faith with the glowing radiance of trust and surrender. Soften my landings, Lord, with the beautiful feathers from the wings of Your refuge. Your steadfast love is my source of life. Take me into Your strong arms until Your strength becomes my own. Thank You for never letting me go. Thank You for Your relentless pursuit which will enable me to cling to You with all that I am.
