Lord, this earthly tent which currently houses my soul longs for eternity when it no longer needs to fear destruction. For You have reserved for me a house indestructible within Your Kingdom. One not fashioned by mortality but designed for immortality. Let my soul groaning be heard in heaven not as complaints but as sweet anticipation and gratitude for all my Lord has done for those He loves. Clothe me with life abundant, Lord. Move every fiber of my being by the power of Your Spirit. Motivate me to bring You glory. Each step of faith in this life journey brings me closer to the good courage I have in You, Jesus. Death is but a shadow that need not be feared. Lead me toward the good even when this fallen world inclines me to evil. Before Your judgment seat, I will receive what has been earned for good or evil. My aim is to please You, Lord. Let me no longer live for myself but for You who died and gave Your life for me. Under the blessed assurance of the Word in John 5:24 and the authority of Christ, I bow in adoring prayer.

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
