Truly, You are my all-sufficiency, Lord God. Praise the One and the only God of all the heavens and the earth. The Holy One who receives the broken into His Kingdom of wholeness. Lord, Your table is sacred. Let there be no leaven of false motives, or insincerity, or ungodliness in my heart. Bring me toward You with humility and trust. Joyfully, I have accepted the gift of faith You granted me. Reverently, I listen for Your counsel. Make me completely Yours, Lord God. My heart shudders to ponder its own tendency to wander. I come to the altar in search of deep spiritual meaning. Let me not be satisfied with superficial knowledge of who You are. Rather, let me feast on the Word as the bread of life. Let me drink the water of salvation and delight in the wine of sacrifice. Truly, You have supplied all my soul’s needs. Cleanse my soul and validate Your claim on my heart, Lord Jesus. Enable Your servant to follow Your commands. I worship Your incomprehensible majesty. Pull my mind away from all thought that is not sanctified. I worship only You in Spirit and in truth. Under the magnificence of the Word in John 4:24 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.

God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.
