Let Your mark on me be holy indelible, Lord. With every confession, I deliver my heart to You. Your forgiveness washes my soul in grace. My heart rejoices in the Lord. With steps of faith, I walk in Your ways, forsaking my own path to choose the one that leads to life, not destruction. Keep eternal horizons in my view. Govern me with awareness of Your presence and respect for Your commands. Though I am not perfect and fall short of all You created me to be, I thank You for the opportunity to come to You in prayer with my misgivings and my failures. I know that You bless a sincere heart and look upon the motive as well as the action. My flesh trips me up more often than I should allow. In the power of Your grace, I resolve to do better tomorrow than I have done today. Clinging to Your holy way, I set that which is not virtuous in the background and bring Your Word always to the forefront. Let me be content with the disapproval of the world if it means I have gained Your favor. You alone are the one I wish to follow. Lead me through difficulty or hardship as long as it takes me to where You are, Lord Jesus. Under the magnificent power of the Word in Matthew 24:35 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
