Truly, my soul was in shambles until Your gracious fingers picked up the pieces, Lord. Though it was not reasonable for me to expect the lavish nature of Your grace to fall upon me in such a magnificent way, it did. All that was formerly broken within me was made whole again through love’s strong adhesive. Though I traveled through the barren wilderness of illusionary spirituality, You chased me out of the dark forest and into the bright meadow of truth. Your Word is a fruitful field, an abundant harvest of love and hope that is consistently available for those who hunger. Let me be stripped of every inclination to worldliness. Your precious guidance has pulled me out of such miserable darkness. Forgiven of my fearful debt, I can now walk freely where I once feared to tread. Accept the fervency of my surrender, Lord. In all sincerity, I submit my soul and my heart to Your sovereign will. My adoration motivates daily devotion. Yours is the unlimited power and matchless majesty that shields me now and forever more. Under the grace canopy of 2 Corinthians 4:6 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
