Wake me to the morning light of consecrated awareness of Your presence, Lord. Shine the light of truth into the shadows of cultural deception that distorts my view of who You really are. Stir up holy desires so that I can live the way You invite me to live. Your sacrifice is my reason. Your grace is my motivation. Upon Your sacred altar of forgiveness, I pour out my confession. Teach me to walk reverently before You. Stoke the fires of my adoration so that my devotion is not only sincere but also transformative. My ears are listening for the sound of Your voice. My heart awaits to hear what You say in Your Word. I approach with attention and anticipation as the sacred pages are turned. Lord, let me renew the covenant in the manner of living. Through Christ, I have truly received fresh supplies of Your Spirit. Let it influence my soul with divine revelation. Assist me in abiding with You as the days stretch out before me. Whatever work You deem necessary, I pray for the wisdom to execute the assignment to Your satisfaction. With resolute determination, I desire to bring glory to Your Name. Under the canopy of the Word in John 14:6-7 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.
