Lord, let me approach You in holy reverence morning and evening. Pull me into the beauty of Your Word so that truth becomes as much a part of me as breath. Accept my devotion as a reflection of my heart, Lord. Keep me from a form of deception that judges my motivations incorrectly. You are the One who searches the heart and knows the intricate wiring of the soul. I set my prayer before You as incense delicate and fragrant, longing for approval. The sweet serenity offered by Your grace grants me the divine acceptance my soul hungers for. Leaning into Your mercy, I embrace the rest You promise, Jesus. My times are in Your hand. May the way I spend my moments be pleasing to You. Let Your grace and perfect love accomplish Your will in ways that fear or terror cannot. Soften my mind to noble principles and teach me to depose the idols in my heart. Let me despise everything that displeases You. Make my heart responsive to compassion. I consecrate my life to You, Lord, with my spirit ablaze with zeal for Your glory. Under the mighty Word in Psalm 119:130-132 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.
