You hold the pieces of my heart in Your capable hands, Lord Almighty. Put me back together in a manner that is fully pleasing to You. Let not the shattered pieces of my soul cause injury to others who get too close. Take me in Your tenderly strong hands and mold me into the image of Your Son. Show me the way that I should go, Father, for to You my soul is gently lifted. I am broken but I am also Your beloved. You are my merciful mender. May the peaceful tranquility I have through You calm my hurts and settle my turbulent heart. Let my mind absorb the knowledge necessary for me to keep moving in the direction of eternity’s glorious horizon. Let me not stray from the path before me because of my deceitful heart which seeks quick fixes rather than the long-term re-construction only my divine carpenter can offer me. May Your Spirit be strong despite my shortcomings. May Your grace cover me despite my faltering. Above all else, Lord God, remind me who I am in You -Your beloved child with access to everything I need for life in Christ. Under the majestic promise of beauty in Acts 17:24, 28 and the authority of Christ Jesus, these prayers are my offering, O God.
