Though I was lost, You condescended to find me, Lord Jesus. Though I transgressed, You sought to cover me with grace. Though I rebelled wickedly against You, forgiveness was Your blessed response. Senseless and ignorant, I came to Your cross where I found the wisdom and intimacy of love. Sovereignly, You claimed my heart, Jesus. Keep forming it in Your likeness. What glorious reprieve allows me to approach the mighty throne knowing that You righteousness has been imparted to me. Settle the matters that remain a mystery to me according to Your sovereign will. I trust You plan more than I trust my own. You are the Son of God. You are the only Savior of the world. I believe in the eternal life promised through You, Jesus. With heartfelt acceptance, I embrace the offer of salvation extended at the cross. Without reservation, I pledge my soul contents to You. Take my tiny hand in Your mighty one, Lord. Put my fragile neck into Your yoke. Have Your way with me and through me. Let me praise You with every breath. Let me honor You with every word. Let me serve You with every action. It was You who sounded the alarm and turned me from the path of destruction. Even when I have given up on myself, I know that You will not give up on me. Under the blessed assurance of the Holy Word of God in Luke 19:10 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.
