Lord, let me never be content with a poor and shallow experience of Your presence. Inspire me to seek You with a depth of devotion that can only be described as holy. You are the One who takes me as I am but is not content to leave me there. I give no rest to my spirit until the matter of vital importance is assessed. What is the state of my soul? Bring me to repentance so that I might find salvation. Prompt me to confession that will provide the cleansing my soul needs. Develop in me a level of praise that is woven into the fabric of daily life. I am not satisfied with superficial hope. I do not cling to a theology of Your love. I want to know it personally. It is only because of Your love for me that I am enabled to respond with love to You. May the words I speak reveal that my interest in a Savior is more than trivial. May my actions show that the relationship is intimately spiritual, not religiously indoctrinated. You have wrought true love in my heart by the work of Your Spirit. Thank You for Your sacrifice, Lord. I have been given life through Your death. I have peace through Your blood. You forsook Your wealth so that I could have a richer inheritance. Fill my soul with a sense of Your beauty. Your greatness, goodness, and loveliness are altogether enchanting. Bind my heart to Yours with adamant affection. Under the beauty and power of the Word in Isaiah 45:21-22 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

Who has shown this from ancient time? Who has declared it of old? Haven’t I, Yahweh? There is no other God besides Me, a just God and a Savior. There is no one besides Me. Look to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.
