Lord, make Your visitation poignant in my suffering. Regard Your servant with a compassionate eye. Cement, strengthen, and adorn my heart with faith. Let my labor not be in vain because I delight to glorify Your Name. Your Spirit enlightens, Lord. Your presence renews my weary soul. Make peace flourish in my heart. Remind me daily how prosperous I am because I am in You, Lord Jesus. Though trouble follows me like a relentless hound, You are my defender. Exchange my mourning for gladness, Lord. Turn my sadness into joy. Even when the night is filled with laments, joy comes in the morning. My humble hope rests on Your promises, God. My fervent prayers are made with the utmost belief. Let Your wisdom prevail in the core of my thinking. Keep my responses to difficult situations holy. Your path is the only one worth walking because it leads to life and light. Set my gaze upon eternal horizons. In the Lord, I trust. In the Lord, I find rest for my soul. Though there are mysteries to life circumstances which I cannot explain, I believe that the journey is the surest and truest passage to that which lasts forever. Under the blessed assurance of the Word in Psalm 30:4-5 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
