Let nothing stand between Your love and my heart, God Almighty. Your love is mighty to save. For You would rather die than see Your beloved perish. Expand the borders of my trust. Your mighty arm can reach anywhere even into the darkest, deepest pit I find myself in. Mighty is Your grace. Keep me from the folly that breaks Your heart and maligns Your Name. Turn me away from the broken cistern of the world’s empty promises and draw me to the endless well of salvation in Your promises. The fountain of Your truth overflows with mercy. The totality of Your majesty anoints my sight so that I can see with eyes of faith. In my weakness, I lean into Your strength. My soul is entirely dependent on You, Jesus. Cover me with the canopy of Your wisdom. Let me bask in the light of the wise that correctly applies the truth of Your Word to daily living. The works I offer You are a poor expression of my love, but when I serve let me do it in the power of Your Spirit. Under the holy guidance of Your blessed Word in 1 Samuel 2:9-10 and the authority of Christ I bow in prayer.
