Grant purity to the defiled soul as only You can do, Lord God. Though the world is harsh and unfeeling, in Your presence feelings are provoked toward kindness and love. Make the tainted heart clean again. Where there exists the corruption of selfish vanities, replace it with humility that looks to others more than it looks to self. Only the blood of my Savior can wash away the stains of sin. How refreshing it is to walk in the footprints of truth when the path through the dark woods of cultural deception becomes hard to navigate. Keep Your servant in the light of truth. Rain down Your blessings so that a grand harvest of righteousness is available throughout my life. Tend to my heart’s garden until the weeds of anxiety are no longer choking new growth. I am nothing without You, Lord Jesus. Nourish the soil within me so that the planting of Your Spirit produces an abundance worthy of Your Kingdom. Under the sweet and merciful Word of the Lord in Ezekiel 36:26 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
