Lord, let me partake more fully of the divine nature. Though there is a vast chasm in regard to essence, I delight in knowing that I was created in Your image. Renew me in the power of Your Spirit, Lord God, until I sense Your nearness. If I covet anything, let me covet holiness. If I desire something, let me desire Your presence. By grace I have learned that God is love. Teach me the best way to manifest that knowledge. My heart knows that God is truth. Make truth the fiber of my being as You pull every loose thread of deception out of the tapestry of my soul. God is good. Let the flow of Your goodness touch every dark place in my soul that needs your touch, Jesus. Truly, I was dead but now I am alive in Christ. Betroth me to Yourself in righteousness and faithfulness, Lord. Such a union is solidified by the Spirit. The branch is nothing without the vine. This high and holy relationship is my greatest treasure. May it be evident in my daily walk and conversations. As I partake in Your divine nature as image bearer, I am grateful to have escaped the corruption of the world. Upon the solid foundation of Your Word in Genesis 1:26 and the authority of my Savior, Christ Jesus, I come to the altar in prayer.
