Today’s Prayer

Lord, thank You for the extension of heaven’s liberty. I fully trust Your promises. Your love is enduring. Even when the floodwaters of trial wash over me, I know that You are with me. When the mountains quake before me, removing all security, I know Your kindness will be there to lean into. The feast of Your Word is daily spread out before me. Let me be grateful for the invitation to select morsels of truth that nourish me throughout the day. How unfailing is the treasury from which I can glean the riches of my inheritance in Christ. Your grace is truly boundless, Lord. Your generosity is entirely unmatched. Spread the blanket of Your covenant blessing over me. In the depth of tribulation, I look to You for comfort. Amidst storms of distress, I rest in Your loving embrace, Jesus. Let me find refuge from the storm in the only One whose voice has authority to turn chaos into calm. There is sweet liberty in the freedom to call to You and in the freedom to run to You. Such freedom is solace in a world that is harsh and unkind. I am grateful for the access You granted to me. Whatever my desires, wants, or necessities might be, I am at liberty to place them upon Your altar. Here I am, Lord, bowing before You. Under the steadfastness of the Word in Isaiah 43:1-3 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
    I have called you by name, you are Mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
    and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
    and the flame shall not consume you.
For I am the Lord your God.
