Motivated to come to You because of the adversity I face, I lift up prayers of supplication. There are days when I feel my nothingness. Let the daily necessities drive me to You instead of to despair. Though I am wanting, I know there is no need You cannot meet. Make me search for the green pastures of promises in Your Word. Give me tangible evidence of Your nearness when the enemy taunts me with loneliness. My soul longs to praise You. My heart desires to adore and abide in You. Only by the power of Your Spirit can the covenant be fulfilled. Take me as I am but do not leave me unchanged by Your touch. Subdue the stubborn patterns of my daily habits. Keep me open to divine intervention. Let me not resist interruptions that are designed to fulfill Your will and purpose. I come to You with my heart bent in a posture of submission. I ascribe to You the glory that is due Your Name. Truly, Your favorable grace is the source of my security in Your love. These are Your days. My times are in Your hands. The days were marked out for me before any came to be. As hard as it feels, let me not forget who You are and who I am to You. I worship You with my every breath. Blessed be the Name of my Savior. Under the blessed reminder in Psalm 31:14-15 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I pray.
